South Orange VCA Chair Passes On Reins, Will Keep Volunteering

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The South Orange Village Center Alliance (SOVCA) turned a page on Wednesday, but the town can look back on the tenure of Board Chair Matt Glass with a smile, the organization says.

According to the SOVCA, Glass has officially handed the group’s leadership reins over to Steven Pedigo, who was unanimously elected our new chair. The SOVCA posted the following message of thanks to Glass:

“Matt has served as chair since our organization’s founding back in 2012, and he has so many accomplishments that we couldn’t possibly list them here. The staff and board of SOVCA presented Matt with a painting from the artist Dan Fenelon who created the mural in Spiotta Park. Fortunately, Matt will continue to volunteer with us! We are all so thankful for Matt’s dedication to South Orange and especially to our Village Center. Thank you, Matt!”
