South Orange Women’s Health Expert Joins Belleville Hospital
The Belleville hospital added a South Orange resident and a "noted expert in obstetrics, gynecology and women's health" to its staff.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, a RWJBarnabas Health facility, recently announced the appointment of South Orange resident Noah Goldman, “a noted expert in obstetrics, gynecology and women’s health,” to its staff.
According to a hospital news release, Goldman is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained in Gynecologic-Oncology and serves in the role of Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health and Associate Division Director of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, a role he has held since November 2017. He is also an attending physician at Newark’s University Hospital in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Previously, Goldman served as Clinical Assistant Professor at The Mount Sinai Hospital in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Services, and at Columbia University. He also held academic teaching responsibilities at New York University School of Medicine and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Previously, he was an attending physician at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and several New York hospitals including Beth Israel Medical Center, NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital.

Goldman, who resides in South Orange, New Jersey, earned a Doctor of Medicine from New Jersey Medical School now part of Rutgers University and an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester. He also completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he also served as the Administrative Chief Resident. Goldman also completed research fellowships in Gynecologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York, and both Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
In addition to having served on special committees, advisory councils focused on quality, Cancer, Oncology and more, Goldman has published journal articles, monographs and books on various topics related to cancer in women.

Goldman is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists Membership Committee. He has been recognized by New Jersey Monthly magazine as a NJ ‘Top Doc’, and has been recognized for excellence and leadership by the New Jersey Medical School Alumni Association.
