South Orange police are investigating multiple incidents of alleged lewd behavior involving a masked man, a report says.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — South Orange police are investigating multiple incidents of alleged lewd behavior involving a masked man, a report says.

A male suspect – masked and with his pants pulled down below his knees – reportedly approached two women in the area of Irvington Avenue and Ward Street during the late evening hours this week, RLS Media stated.

The suspect was reportedly holding up a shirt with one hand while he fondled himself with the other hand, RLS Media stated.

When one of the women screamed, the suspect allegedly pulled his pants up and ran towards Underhill Football Field, the report stated.

Another act of lewd behavior allegedly took place on Sept. 18, according to the South Orange Police Department.

In that incident, a 22-year-old female told officers that she was walking east on Irvington Avenue around 10 p.m. when a male suspect allegedly exposed himself to her. She described the suspect as a white male about 5 feet 8 inches in height with a muscular build and wearing a tan scarf around his face.

The South Orange Detective Bureau is investigating the incident, authorities said.
