Star-Ledger: Essex County to Expand 9/11 Memorial to Include Flight Crew Members
A South Orange couple whose son perished in the 9/11 attacks have become unofficial caretakers of the county's memorial.
Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo has announced plans for a special memorial to honor the 33 flight crew members who perished on 9/11 to be added to the existing memorial in the West Orange reservation.
A South Orange couple, Donald and Marcee Robertson, who lost their son in the attacks, have become unofficial caretakers, tending to offerings left at the wall.
