Star-Ledger: Fire Dept. Looks to Keep Tabs on SHU Off-Campus Dwellings

Ever mindful of the tragedy at Seton Hall nearly a decade ago, when three students were killed in a dormitory fire, South Orange fire officials are hoping that the new ordinance requiring landlords to register with the Village will enable them to create a list of properties -- including off-campus student rentals -- that present potential fire risks.
