Star Wars Marathon In NJ: 7 Movies, One Day

Looking forward to the Dec. 18 release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?

You’re not alone.

On Thursday, Dec. 17, the AMC Garden State 16 in Paramus will host a marathon screening of all seven previously released Star Wars films

Billed as “the ultimate fan experience,” the marathon Dec. 17 will include all seven movies. The first six films will be screened in 2D, before the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 3D. Guests will also receive a lanyard featuring exclusive movie marathon art.

The theater is in the Westfield Garden State Plaza, 4000 Garden State Plaza Blvd, Paramus, NJ 07652.

Films will be screened chronologically:

• THE PHANTOM MENANCE: 1:00am
• ATTACK OF THE CLONES: 3:30am
• REVENGE OF THE SITH: 6:15am
• A NEW HOPE: 10:15am
• THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: 12:45pm
• RETURN OF THE JEDI: 3:15pm
• THE FORCE AWAKENS: 7:00pm

“AMC does not permit weapons or items that would make other guests feel uncomfortable or detract from the movie-going experience. Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume, but we do not permit masks or face paint. In short, bring your lightsaber, turn it off during the movie, and leave the blaster and Darth Vader mask at home.”
