Strengthening NJ Families: Financial Empowerment Workshops Begin July 9

On behalf of my friends at the New Jersey Black Empowerment Coalition (NJBEC) — led by James Collins‑Colding and the NJBEC team — I’m excited to help spread the word about an important community initiative I personally believe in: the Financial Empowerment Workshop Series, a free, three‑part program designed to help families build financial stability and long‑term economic strength.

While NJBEC is the official organizer and owner of this series, I’m proud to serve as a promotional partner because I believe deeply in the mission of expanding opportunity and strengthening communities across New Jersey.

These workshops will take place at Essex County College, Siegler Hall, on:

• Thursday, August 6, 2026
• Thursday, September 24, 2026

Each session will feature practical guidance on budgeting, saving, credit improvement, banking relationships, homeownership, fraud prevention, and building generational wealth — all delivered by trusted professionals and community‑focused leaders.
