‘Strong Arm’ Robbery In South Orange: Pizza Delivery Driver Says He Was Assaulted

The pizza delivery driver was delivering food on Village Road at the time of the alleged robbery, South Orange police say.

South Orange, NJ – A pizza delivery driver in South Orange was reportedly the victim of a strong arm robbery on Village Road last week, police say.

According to the South Orange Police Department, the driver told officers that he was delivering food to an address in the area around 10:30 p.m. on July 9, when four suspects attacked him.

The driver told police that the suspects knocked him to the ground, held his arms and rifled through his pockets, authorities stated.

The suspects eventually made off with the driver’s cash and his iPhone, police stated.

An investigation is ongoing, police said.
