Tasty Treats at Garden of Eden
The gourmet food market hosted vendor Fancy Foods, Inc. In spite of the heat, the company offered samples of their grilled meats and top-of-the-line pastas and pesto.
Samples galore were available Saturday afternoon as customers tasted goodies outside Garden of Eden Gourmet Market. Fancy Foods, Inc., a vendor with the market, set up grills and tasting tables in the rear lot of the store.
“We’re here to promote out exclusive brands,” said Jairo Gando, a sales associate with the company. “We’ve got pasta, olive oil, beef, poultry, veal, lamb, and a whole lot more.”
While Gando grilled delicious skirt steak and chicken sausage, his co-worker, Julie Degrossi, offered up samples of pasta and pesto. She shared information about Campagna, the company’s product line. In addition to pasta and olive oil, the line includes roasted red peppers and artichokes.

All in all, it appeared that the tasting worked. Several customers made their way into Garden of Eden to purchase bottles of green and red pesto. “This is simply delicious,” one customer said. “I will definitely be back for more.”
