Tomas Doncker to Perform at South By South Orange Festival

The multi-instrumentalist will play alongside musicians from Living Color and The Wailers.

If so, make sure that you catch multi-instrumentalist Tomás Doncker’s performance on Saturday, June 27, at the upcoming South By South Orange Festival. [See related Patch article]

Doncker will be performing in the “Causing Collisions” concert from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the SOPAC main stage, 1 Sopac Way.

According to a release, Doncker will be performing from his album, “Big Apple Blues,” which was co-written with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa, and performing alongside other musical notables such as bassist and musical director Mike Griot, Grammy winner Will Calhoun (from Living Colour), True Groove All-Star Josh David (currently front-man for The Wailers) and critically acclaimed violinist Alan Grubner.
