UPDATE: Essex County Bus Crash Leaves Man In Critical Condition
The Coach USA bus hit a sedan, careened into a passing pedestrian and crashed into a Bank of America branch.

A bus crash on Main Street in Orange on Wednesday left one man hospitalized in critical condition and two other people injured.
Authorities stated that the crash took place around 3:30 p.m., when a Coach USA bus collided with a Nissan Altima. The bus careened and struck a pedestrian, then crashed into the side of a Bank of America branch.
The 34-year-old pedestrian was taken to University Hospital in Newark and is in critical condition, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Emergency responders also transported the 77-year-old driver of the bus and the 39-year-old driver of the Nissan to University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the collision.
