Baird Center Closed for Construction

Please be advised that the Baird Center, 5 Mead Street, is closed for construction until further notice.

There is no access to the building or related facilities; the public is not allowed inside the construction fence for any purpose. For the convenience and safety of those using the parks and practice fields portable toilets have been placed outside of the construction fencing, around Cameron Field and Meadowlands Park.

The planned improvements of the Baird will include a beautiful community space and cafe, a porch, dance and fitness spaces, dedicated art rooms, performance and public meeting space. The Pierro Gallery will return and a two-store field house addition will include a gymnasium and event space.
