The South Orange-Maplewood Villagers U10B baseball team won the Branchburg Baseball Tournament on June 27. The boys of summer played six games over two weekends, facing a team from Montgomery in the championship. Despite the stifling heat, the Villagers jumped out to a commanding 7-0 lead after two innings and never looked back. The final score was 12-5. As you can see, the sweaty boys were all smiles at the trophy presentation ceremony.
