Wreck that killed S.O. man still under investigation

Essex County investigators are still investigating a fatal accident Jan. 27 on Parsonage Hill Road that took the life of a South Orange man, a county prosecutor's office spokesman said Wednesday.

No charges have been filed, the spokesman said, and he did not say if charges could be filed against the other driver.

The accident took place at the intersection of Parsonage Hill Road and Long Hill drive, killing Ari Vuotila, 39, of South Orange. He was driving one vehicle, and a Millburn 17-year-old was driving the other vehicle.

The teen was treated and released from an area hospital.
