ANTIQUES APPRAISAL NIGHT RETURNS TO SPRINGFIELD LIBRARY

Friends of the Springfield Library present Annual Antiques Appraisal Night on March 23, 2015

The Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library will again hold their annual ANTIQUES APPRAISAL NIGHT.  This year it will be on Monday night, March 23, 2015 at the library, 66 Mountain Ave., in Springfield from 7-9pm.  The appraisals will again be conducted by Ken Jakupko, of Ken’s Antiques, Summit Antiques Center.  There will be a suggested donation of $5 for each item brought in for appraisal. This donation will be collected on the 23rd when you sign in.  Participants are asked to arrive at 6:30 pm to sign in.  The total number of items that can be appraised may be limited according to the time available.  Pre-registration is suggested but not required.

In past years, a wide range of interesting items have been brought in for Mr. Jakupko’s informed comments and appraisal, based on his 35 years of experience.  It is a fun and interesting night even if you don’t have any items of your own this year.  There is no charge to just come, listen, and learn.

All funds raised by the Friends go to support programs and materials for adults and children at the library.
