Art Show by Springfield resident Kenneth Joos

The Donald B.  Palmer
Museum of the Springfield Free Public Library will exhibit paintings of
Springfield resident Kenneth E. Joos during the month of June.  Joos’ career as a painter goes back more than
60 years, beginning with his training at the McKernan Art School in Paterson,
NJ and continuing with studies at Newark Fine Arts and Famous Artist School in
Westport, CN.  Accepting commissions to
do house and pet portraits, wildlife and landscapes, Joos has sold more than  300 paintings during the course of his
career.  He also was employed by the art
department of Manhattan Castings and did freelance art work for Aromatic
National Magazine, Life Magazine and the Curtis Wright catalog.
