A Celebration of Our Past and Future - The Chinese American Music Ensemble invites all music lovers to help celebrate its 20th anniversary in a concert of returning favorites and new songs. Led by Mr. Matthew Lee and Dr. Shuang Guo, both the children and adult choruses will present a collection of folk songs from different parts of China, showcasing each locality's distinctive sound and flavor. The program also includes African American spirituals, songs in Hebrew and Swahili, show tunes and much more. Integral to the celebration is the after concert reception where everyone is invited to enjoy an array of enticing refreshments. This evening promises to fill you with sensory delights.
