Dayton Athletes Chosen to Participate in Snapple Bowl

Game starts at 7 p.m. at Kean University.

Elite high school football players and cheerleaders from Union and Middlesex counties will put their talents on display Thursday night at the 20th annual MyCentralJersey.com Snapple Bowl.

Each year, cheerleading and football coaches from the two counties nominate their strongest seniors to represent their respective schools in the annual duel.

Middlesex has won six out of the last seven games but the two sides have split the victories over the last two years. Union won a 28-6 battle in 2011 and Middlesex came away with a 39-15 win in 2012.
