Jonathan Dayton High School's class of 2013 will celebrate its graduation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 at Wilkins Theater at Kean University.
Seniors will have a chance to rehearse during graduation day. After arriving at school, students will be bused to the theater for practice.
Each graduating senior will receive four tickets to the commencement ceremony. Those seeking additional tickets can put in a request with the school's main office. Officials are currently gathering requests and hope to fulfill as many as possible, a Dayton spokesperson told Patch Monday. Officials will meet this Friday to discuss honoring those requests.

Caps and gowns, along with graduation tickets, will be distributed to seniors next week.
Seniors looking to celebrate in a safe environment can sign up for Project Graduation. The nationally recognized alcohol- and drug-free party is designed to provide high school graduates with a safe alternative to celebrating their special night. Statistics have shown that students celebrating on their own the evening of graduation can experience one of the most dangerous nights of their young lives, according to Dayton's Project Graduation site.

"At the conclusion of the graduation ceremonies the graduates will be bussed from JDHS to the Madison YMCA with activities that include swimming, sporting events, a DJ, a hypnotist and an all-night food fest," the site states. "Transportation is provided back to JDHS on Friday morning when the students will need to be picked up. This event has been a time-honored tradition of Dayton and is the last formal opportunity for the kids to be together as a class."
