Dove Self-Esteem Workshop For Girls of Union Community

On Tuesday, November 11, Dove and ShopRite will team up together to host a Dove Self-Esteem Workshop for girls (ages 13-19) in the Union and surrounding communities!

Dove research shows that 72% of girls feel pressure to be beautiful. It also shows that 6 out of ten girls stop doing the things they love because they don’t like the way they look. The Dove Self-Esteem Workshop was created to address these pressures, opening up communication on appearance, beauty and body image.

The hour-long self-esteem workshop will include discussions and activities that were created with leading experts in appearance and body confidence. The workshop will be led by Dove Self-Esteem Educator Dre Brown, who will help young these young people to develop the skills and behaviors that lead to positive self-esteem.
