In this video clip, Dr. Bill Thomas, co-founder of the Eden Alternative, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to culture change in elder care, announces that two additional Windsor Healthcare homes have been accepted into the Eden Registry, continuing Windsor Healthcare’s leadership in providing person-directed care to elders in New Jersey. Dr. Thomas leads a community and media briefing, followed by a “non-fiction” theatrical performance celebrating his enlightened approach at the NJ Performing Arts Center. During the briefing, Dr. Thomas provides the Eden Alternative awards to Windsor Healthcare President and CEO Hyman Jacobs and Vice President Batsheva Katz.

The April 2 events -- first at Windsor Healthcare's Buckingham at Norwood Care & Rehabilitation Center and then at the NJ Performing Arts Center in Newark — are part of the third stop in a 25-city cross-country series conducted by Second Wind Tour featuring Dr. Thomas's and others' powerful insights into slower, deeper, more connected ways of living and working, especially in the later years of life. In the theatrical performance, Ms. Katz leads the Windsor Healthcare Communities Choir in a song and dance rendition of "Happy."
