Fabulous Finishes: Great Pennant Races of the Past

will present Dan Schlossberg who will share stories of the pennant races and World Series of years past. Share the excitement, the heartbreak, the record breaking performances and the devastating losses from America’s favorite pastime. 

Dan Schlossberg is one of the country’s premier baseball experts and is the author of 34 books and over
25,000 articles about baseball. Dan has contributed to Baseball Digest, The Sporting News, MLB.com, the All-Star Game and World Series programs, annuals, and
many other publications. He has written the biographies on many baseball trading cards for companies including Topps and Upper Deck. The former Associated
Press sportswriter is managing editor of BallTalk,
a syndicated weekly radio baseball show, contributing editor to XM Satellite Radio’s Maggie Linton Show and a
featured baseball expert on BaseballGuru.com.

Dan will be bringing along Al Clark, a New Jersey native who spent 26 years as a big-league umpire and is now collaborating with him on a book called
Nothing to Hide: My Journey from the Big Leagues to the Big House. He's a great speaker and will make a fine addition to the program.
