The Springfield Chapter of Hadassah will host a general meeting on Thursday, April19, 12:30 PM, at the Springfield Public Library.
The meeting is devoted to Holocaust Remembrance. Ms. Miriam Gershwin of Springfield, a Holocaust survivor, is in charge of the meeting.
The program will include a significant candle lighting ceremony during which survivors and a righteous gentile will light six candles memorializing the six million Jews who perished because of the Holocaust. Paulette Dorflaufer, a holocaust survivor, born in Marseilles, France, will speak with the group.

This meeting is open to the public. A light luncheon along with coffee, tea and cake will be served. Non Hadassah members who are planning to attend are requested to contact Hadassah president, Rona Zandel, at 973.379.9498.
