Heavyweight Boxer Barrett Trains at NBD in Springfield
Monte "Two Gunz" Barrett prepares for his bout with Heavyweight WBO Champion David Tua, at NBD.
This Saturday night, heavyweight boxers Monte Barrett and David Tua will clash at the Tropicana, in Atlantic City.
To prepare against the 51-3-1 Tua, Barrett has been training at No Body Denied Gym in Springfield. The gym attracted Barrett as well as several mixed martial arts fighters with its specialized training and conditioning opportunities.
The slow, yet aggressive Tua clearly is the favorite; Tua has 43 knockouts and 3 losses, while Barrett has 20 KO's, 34 wins and 9 losses. Also, Tua's number of first round knock outs is second only to Mike Tyson.

But don't count out Monte, who has been working out hard and says he's in the best shape of his life. The fight will be on Pay-Per-View this Saturday, July 17, 2010.
