History Comes to Life at Saint James the Apostle School

Seventh Graders present Living Biographies at School's Open House

It’s Catholic Schools Week and Saint James the Apostle School in Springfield was visited by some notable people in history. Special guests included Benjamin Franklin, General George Patton, authors C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Mark Twain and Margaret Mitchell, Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Mary Queen of Scots, Clara Barton and so many more. Students in the 7th grade presented their living biographies at the Open House to visiting families and during the week to the entire student body.
