Lunchtime Film Series at Springfield Public Library on September 29th

"Banned Books in Film" Lunchtime Film Series concludes at the Springfield Free Public Library on Monday, September 29 at 1 pm

Don’t miss the next great film in the Library’s current free lunchtime series, “Banned Books in Film”. In honor of the Freedom to Read Foundation’s observance of Banned Books Week (Sep. 21-27), the Library is proud to show film versions of literary classics that have been banned or challenged. The movie starts at 1 pm. You can bring lunch - light refreshments are served at 12:30. The Library is located at 66 Mountain Ave., in Springfield. Call the Libr for more information: (973)376-4930. Funding for the film program is made possible in part by the NJ Council on the Arts, Department of State, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs and by the Friends of the Springfield Public Library.
