Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County to Host An Evening for Kids' Sake November 14

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County will celebrate their annual “Evening for Kids’ Sake” with a Star Wars theme on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The Fuge, 780 Falcon Circle, Warminster, Pa. The presenting sponsor for the event is First Niagara Bank.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County invites guests to enjoy an evening of gourmet tastings and beverage samplings from local restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries. The evening will include music and dancing; silent auction of unique items and experiences, including a framed Stars War movie poster, signed by the original cast; a classic Wrigley Field Rooftop Experience; and a jazz trip to New Orleans. There will also be a Star Wars themed photo booth; caricatures by David C. Perry and a stand-up routine by award winning and legendary comedian Joe Conklin.

Victoria Browning Wyeth, granddaughter of American artist Andrew Wyeth and a former Big Sister, will be present to meet and greet guests. Wyeth currently tours the country and travels abroad lecturing on Wyeth art and her family’s legacy. In 1991, Wyeth joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and became a Big Sister to Sarah Blondin of Lewiston, Maine. Wyeth and Blondin have remained close friends and supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ programs.

General admission tickets are $75 each. VIP tickets are $125 each. VIP tickets include early admission beginning at 7:00 p.m., reserved seating, an exclusive gift and a meet and greet with local celebrity guests including Victoria Browning-Wyeth; George Spencer, EMMY Award winning reporter, NBC10; and Debbi Calton, radio DJ, 102.9 WMGK .
