Saint James Wins 2017 Roselle Catholic Scholastic Olympics!

Saint James the Apostle School's 8th graders take top honors at the 46th Annual Scholastic Olympics hosted by Roselle Catholic High School.

Congratulations to the 8th graders at Saint James the Apostle School for winning first place overall at Roselle Catholic High School's 46th Annual Scholastic Olympics! The competition drew thirteen Catholic elementary schools from Union and Essex Counties. Six students placed in the top three of several subjects. Each 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner received a $1,500 scholarship for their freshman year, if they decide to attend Roselle Catholic High School, for a school total of $9,000 in scholarships. Saint James will also have its name added to the engraved winner's trophy and be able to display the trophy at school until next year. The school is so proud of their accomplishment, especially the way the class supported each other leading up to and throughout the competition. This is the second time in three years Saint James the Apostle School has won this competition.

Saint James the Apostle School offers students from PreK-3 through grade 8 a Roman Catholic faith-based education which acknowledges each child's individual ability to achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, and spiritually.
