Senior Citizen Bus Service Available In Springfield

The Springfield Recreation Department offers free weekday morning bus transportation for senior citizens to locations within the township, such as the grocery store, doctors, gym, meetings, library, post office, and more.

Residents can call (973) 912-2227 each day between 8:00-9:00 am to schedule an appointment for that morning.

The bus service runs from 9:00 am-1:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with the exception of municipal holidays. The bus is equipped with a passenger lift for wheelchairs.

Other riders should be able to board and depart the bus independently.
