"SIDE BY SIDE" - MUSIC BY OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II AND STEPHEN SONDHEIM
Concert performance by singer Jean McClelland and pianist Bill McClelland, a review of the music of Oscar Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim
Songs to be performed include classics from some of the composers’ most bellowed shows, including Hammerstein’s ‘Show Boat’, ‘South Pacific’, ‘Oklahoma’, ‘Carousel’, ’The King and I’ and Sondheim’s ‘West Side Story’, ‘Gypsy’, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘Follies’, ‘A Little Night Music’ and more.
The concert will take place on Sunday, November 16th at 2:00 pm at the Springfield Public Library.
