Soccer Club of Springfield Collects Donations for Sandy Victims

Following Super Storm Sandy, the Soccer Club of Springfield, organized a community-wide donation at the club's last official weekend of games on Nov 23-24. 

Players from both Springfield and opposing teams brought non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products to donate to Northern Monmouth County Chamber of Commerce. 

Soccer Club Board Members Kevin Petraglia and Joe Forys rented a truck and delivered dozens of boxes of goods.
