Springfield Lacrosse Continues to Improve

After losing last Saturday to traditional powerhouse Westfield in a close game 6-2, the Springfield Laxmen held host to an experienced Millburn team behind Dayton High School.  

Falling behind 1-0, Springfield came back on a beautiful goal by Anthony Corigliano who won the face off and took it coast to coast to tie the game.

Another excellent outing by goalie Gavin Schorenstein and another goal by Corigliano would keep things close, but the Millers from Millburn were not going be upset and would eventually pull away, outscoring the Jr Dawgs 6-1 in the second half to seal a 9-2 victory.
