Springfield Library Celebrates Humanities Festival Month With October Programs

Two part program centered around this year's Humanities Festival Month theme," New Jersey: Celebrating Innovation, Diversity and Liberty".

The programs will take place at the Springfield Public Library on the following dates:

Sunday, October 5th , 2:00 pm - Presentation by Leonard De Graff, the author of ”Edison and Rise of Innovation” . Both before and after this program the public is invited to look at two original Edison phonographs on display in Donald B. Palmer Museum.

Saturday, October 11th, 2:00 pm - Rutgers Law School professor Elise Boddie will speak on the topic, “The Challenges of Diversity and Integration in NJ Public Schools”.
