When do I know I should clean my carpets or have them replaced?
Dear Homeowner,
Let's start with a few questions...
1) how old are the carpets? Depending on the age, material ... Wool carpets can last almost a life time when properly cared for. Nylons & Polyesters - can range from 7-10ys, based on usage and regular cleaning.
2) How soiled? If the carpets are heavily soiled & not cleaned on a regular basis... Then it may be too late to save them...
3) Pets? Pets can do a lot of damage to carpets ... And require regular cleaning, pet urine may damage carpets & padding...
If your carpets are under 7years & have had a regular cleaning ... Then you may get a few more years... If over 7 & heavy wear & tear? Then our advise is to update - replace ... Nothing feels like new carpet... It's a great update! Along with fresh paint... It can bring new life to a dated - tired room!
