Toby Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Toby! He has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"We've had Toby for a year since his old family decided to move and could not take him. We had just prior to that decided we wanted another dog after an unsuccessful adoption. We decided to take Toby and are so happy we did.

He may be little but he makes up for it with his personality. To some he may be yappy and grumpy but with us he is a lovable baby. He is a great addition to our family. We love him!"

Do you think your pet should be Springfield's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Springfield Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
