• Norfolk Dredging to Begin $15.8 Million Stone Harbor Beach Replenishment Project in New Jersey (dredgewire.com) — Stone Harbor’s beaches are about to undergo a major federally funded replenishment, with equipment arriving around November 2 and active sand pumping planned from November 14 through December 20. Residents should expect construction traffic and partial parking closures near 122nd Street while nearly 540,000 cubic yards of sand are added to widen beaches and bolster storm protection ahead of the 2027 tourism season.
