$1.4M In School Admin. Salaries In Summit: See How It's Spent

Nine employees split the $1,407,957 pot in Summit in 2018. We break down who got what.

SUMMIT, NJ - Superintendent and principal salaries continue to rise, and last year Summit taxpayers spent $1,407,957 on the superintendent and principals in their school district.

The Department of Education recently released its annual list of superintendents and principals and their salaries before the start of the 2018-19 school year. Some of the principals and superintendents listed may no longer be with their schools; this list was developed in 2018.

The Department of Education has said it double-checks the data before delivering it to the media.

The list below is the Summit principals and superintendent with their school, their school district, their years of service (which is surely a factor in their pay) and, finally, their salaries in 2018:
