100 Summit Homes Lost Power Due To Fallen Tree
Jersey Central Power & Light restored power to 101 homeowners in Summit around 4 p.m. after losing power for about 4 hours.

SUMMIT, NJ — A fallen tree had caused more than 100 Summit homes to lose power Monday afternoon. Power has since been resumed around 4 p.m. by Jersey Central Power & Light.
Glenside Avenue was closed between Stiles Road and Valemont Way due to the fallen tree, Summit Police stated in an alert around noon.
JCP&L reported 101 homeowners in Summit had no power. An estimate for power to be resumed changed from 2 to 4 p.m.
