5 Adorable, Adoptable Dogs In Union County

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Looking for your furever fur buddy? Check out these dogs who are ready and up for adoption at Home for Good Dog Rescue in Summit and Berkeley Heights.

HFGDR is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Summit with offices in Berkeley Heights. All of the dogs live in loving local foster homes until they find forever families of their own. The fosters begin basic training, housebreaking and leash walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life.

Brady - Cuteness overload. Brady is a 10-week old Terrier/Papillon mix with the sweetest personality. He loves all other dogs, plays really well with cats, and does great with children. He is compact and can travel anywhere. He will likely be a small dog when fully grown. Brady is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Bruno - Meet Bruno. He is an 85-pound Newfoundland Dog Mix. He loves all people, other dogs, kids and cats. Basically he is perfect. He is gentle giant. Bruno was surrendered to HFG since his owner became homeless and could no longer care for or feed him. He is a big boy with an even bigger heart. Bruno is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Parker - Meet Parker. He is a 2-year old Shih Tzu. He is fully grown at 14 pounds. He loves kids, other dogs, and everyone he meets. Honestly, he thinks he is a politician. He is all over the place meeting everyone and anyone who will kiss and pet him. He would also do well in a home with a special needs child. Parker is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Carly - Carly is a 3-month old, 16-pound Shepherd mix with a great temperament. She likes other dogs, small kids, and cats. Carly is crate trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Scottie - Meet Scottie. He is a 1-year old Retriever mix. He is stunningly handsome. He is dog and cat friendly. He rides great in a car, is working on leash training, and loves to be around people. He plays ball, but has not mastered bringing it back. Scottie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
