Bike Stolen From Train Station: Summit Police
The lock was in place and intact but the bike was gone from the rack, police said.
SUMMIT, NJ - A veritable Houdini stole a bike from the Summit Train Station on Jan. 17, according to the Summit Police Department.
The victim reported that upon returning to the bicycle rack, the lock was still in place, intact, and the bicycle was gone.
The bicycle was a matte black with a purple and blue stripe men’s Specialized Crosstrail, 28-speed bicycle. The bicycle was valued at approximately $600, police said.
