Summit Playhouse to Host "Talk Back" with Monica Carsky, Ph.D. on Saturday, March 2nd

Hi Theatre Lovers!  I just wanted let you know about something really cool that we well be doing in conjunction with our current production, God of Carnage.   

Summit Playhouse will host a “Talk Back” with Monica Carsky, Ph.D., Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry, Weill Cornell Medical College, 286 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10017.

Dr. Carsky will join the cast of GOD OF CARNAGE on Saturday evening, March 2, 2013 after the performance concludes (approximately 9:45 p.m.) to discuss with the cast, director and audience members, themes of the play and give a Psychologist’s perspective. 

Audience members who choose to stay may do so at no additional cost and are free to leave at any time.

GOD OF CARNAGE after two 11 year olds get involved in a squabble, the parents of both children meet to discuss the matter. As the evening goes on, the meeting degenerates into the four getting into irrational arguments, causing the discussion to drift far afield. “...delivers the cathartic release of watching other people’s marriages go boom. About the Summit Playhouse

Since its founding in 1918, the Summit Playhouse has produced over 300 productions, making it one of the oldest continuously operating community theaters in the United States.
