We’ve created BridgeFIT, our 2020 adaptation of our 5k fundraiser, which asks you to choose a fitness activity, register, and get moving anytime from September 21st to 26th. Help us meet our important fundraising goal of $50,000! We still have much to do to end homelessness!

Whether you're taking evening walks or starting your day on your Peloton, many of us have found ways to keep our bodies and minds active these past few months. Why not use YOUR activity to support Bridges? You'll help us raise awareness of homelessness in our communities - and raise critical funds to help some of our neighbors most in need. Bridges is out on the streets 7 days a week, and has sheltered over 600 people during the pandemic. We need your help to keep going!

You can register, fundraise and/or donate. Every dollar counts.

About Bridges Outreach:

Founded in 1988, Bridges reaches out to the homeless in Newark, Irvington, Summit & NYC each week. This year Bridges Outreach celebrates 32 years of helping our neighbors in need who are homeless and food insecure. Over this time, we’ve met many thousands of homeless individuals and delivered more than 100,000 meals and literally tons of clothing. In 2014, Bridges opened Project Connect in Newark to offer case management services that lead to better health, jobs, and housing. During the pandemic alone, we have helped shelter over 700 individuals, and now we are making a bold effort to transition those in shelter to permanent supportive housing.
