Event Details
The celebration will begin at noon with a flag-raising ceremony, followed by a decorated bicycle parade for children at 12:15 p.m. Concerts and entertainment will begin at 1 p.m., with programming continuing throughout the afternoon and evening.
The event will conclude with a fireworks display beginning at 9:15 p.m.
The walking track, playground, tennis courts, and lower fields at Memorial Field will close at 1 p.m. in preparation for the fireworks. Roads surrounding the field will close to vehicle traffic at 6 p.m. Parking in the Ashland Road lot next to the tennis courts will be closed all day. Handicapped parking will be available at the intersection of Watchung Place and Tulip Street.

- 12:00 p.m. – Rides and food court open / Flag raising ceremony
- 12:15 p.m. – Decorated bicycle parade for children

- 1:00 p.m. – More Stars in concert / World Cup match viewing (sponsored by GRACE)
- 2:00 p.m. – Boogie Woogie American Dance Party

- 5:30 p.m. – Owls and Lions in concert

- 9:00 p.m. – Lowering of the colors
