Kostas Bekris, Professor of Computer Science at Rutgers University and an Amazon Scholar with Amazon Robotics, will highlight how tighter integration of perception, learning and planning for vision-driven robot manipulation can address gaps that lie at the interface of these domains at present.
The Summit Area Old Guard is a social, educational, and recreational fellowship of active men of retirement age, founded in 1930. We hear presentations most Tuesday mornings in an auditorium in New Providence, and we have many other activities including discussion groups, sports and outdoor groups, and celebrations. Our dues are minimal, and members volunteer for all aspects of the operation. Our motto is "Come for the programs. Stay for the friends." Guests are always welcome to attend and to learn about our organization.
