“The future belongs to those who prepare for it today” - Malcolm X
The Summit Area YMCA recognizes the potential in every child. We strive to provide the environment and resources for all youth to learn, grow, and thrive. With nurturing and supportive staff, enriching curriculum and programs, and a strong built-in value system, children are able to not only reach their full potential, but discover new passions, develop skills, make new friends, and have a safe place to be and to call their second home.
This Fall, The Summit Area YMCA is debuting an 8-week program to challenge your children physically and mentally.Through this fun, adrenaline-rush program, children in grades 3 – 5 will use their problem-solving skills to tackle competitive games with their teammates. They will develop essential life skills such as patience, discipline, problem solving and most of all – learning that failure is part of success all while having fun in a social environment.
