Claas Ehlers Named to Consultative Council of Nonprofit Leaders
Family Promise CEO one of 24 nonprofit leaders selected by Charity Navigator

On June 5, 2020, Claas Ehlers, CEO of Family Promise, was selected by Charity Navigator to join their Consultative Council of Nonprofit Leaders.
According to the nonprofit evaluator, “This diverse team of experienced nonprofit leaders will advise Charity Navigator on various aspects of the sector, shed light on factors that influence nonprofit success, and work collaboratively to help strengthen our current and future initiatives.” Additionally, the group will advise the nonprofit rating organization as they increase the number of rated organizations from 9,000 to 100,000 in the coming months.
Charity Navigator is a resource for donors that provides guidance on the financial health, accountability & transparency, and impact of nonprofits. Family Promise has received Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating, the highest available, for seven consecutive years. Only 6% of nonprofits have received seven consecutive 4-star ratings.
