Come Help Celebrate the SHS Class of 2020!
The families of the Summit High School senior class and Summit community are honoring the SHS class of 2020 with a car parade.

The families of the SHS senior class and Summit community will be honoring the Summit High School class of 2020 with a car parade. It all starts at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th at Tatlock! Please bring a sign to help cheer on our graduates!
Here are the details:
STUDENTS & DRIVERS:

- Students AND driver will start to park along side Butler Parkway at Tatlock Field by 2:45 pm.
- It is REQUIRED that a non-SHS senior drive the car so the graduate can safely enjoy the parade without distraction.
- At 3:00 pm, the car parade will be escorted by the Summit Police Department, EMS and Fire Department along the route.
- Students are encouraged to DECORATE their car and remember to grab your lawn sign too!
- It is recommended but optional to wear cap and gown.
- Please DO NOT EXIT CARS at any time or slow down parade for any reason.
PARENTS AND FANS:
- Bring signs, voices and smiles! Parents and fans may line up along the inside (parking lot path) of the high school and front of high school on Kent Place Boulevard. If it needs to extend further, people may start to line up anywhere along car route.
- Please be respectful of others and wear masks as well as keep a comfortable and healthy distance from your neighbor.
- In the interest of keeping it moving - please do not stop cars at any point.
- If you can walk to this event it would be helpful to cut down on traffic. If you need to drive, the larger SHS parking lot will be available. Please keep the smaller parking lot by the field empty.

- START: Butler Parkway
- LEFT on Morris Avenue
- RIGHT on Kent Place Boulevard
- RIGHT on Weaver Street (main entrance of SHS)
- Car parade will follow the path closest to the school exiting thru the back parking lot making a RIGHT onto Weaver Street to Morris Avenue.
