Continuo Arts Foundation Announces An Evening With World Renowned Composer Mark Hayes

Summit, New Jersey — As part of its historic 20th season, the Continuo Arts Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Institute for Lifelong Learning, a dynamic initiative designed to broaden access to education and artistic enrichment. The Inaugural Event will feature composer-conductor Mark Hayes, known for his influential work in choral and orchestral compositions and arrangements.

As part of the Lee and Pat Resnick Lecture Series, Hayes will offer a behind-the-scenes look at his compositional process, sharing insights into how he composes for both choral ensembles and orchestral arrangements and featuring live demonstrations with singers. Attendees will be treated to an in-depth look at his most recent creation of Psalmos, his acclaimed work which received its world premiere at Carnegie Hall in April of 2026.

An Evening with Mark Hayes will take place on Thursday, May 14th at 6:30 PM at the Continuo Arts Conservatory: 36 Chatham Road, Summit, New Jersey. This event is free and open to the public, welcoming music enthusiasts, students, educators, and community members.
