Continuo Continues On -- Continuo Arts' 2020 Virtual Gala!

The Continuo Arts Foundation Presents the 2020 Virtual Gala – Continuo Continues On, a charity gala to help save the arts. The event will take place this Friday, December 4th at 7:30pm streaming on facebook.com/continuoarts and youtube.com/continuoarts and features performers from Summit, Millburn, Westfield, Short Hills, Berkeley Heights, Maplewood, and more!

This year, the Continuo Arts Gala has been reimagined to be enjoyed from the comfort of your home, highlighting the importance of keeping the arts alive. This online event will be filled with Continuo performance highlights, solos from members, guest artists, and special notes from John Rutter, Rosemary Siemens, and more in the international musical world. Donations made during the event will go directly to:

• Provide on-going music education and performance opportunities for all ages and socio-economic groups
• Maintain our current performance scholarship program
• Create jobs for local professional artists and musicians
• Help to bring content and performances to major concert halls struggling to re-open at home and abroad
• Invest in changing the lives of children, youth, young artists, adults and senior citizens in a profound and tangible way; transforming futures, impacting families and molding communities

The Continuo Arts Foundation has never faltered in embracing the challenge of excellence, despite the uncertainty of the times. The organization at large is based in Summit, New Jersey, and has been operating remotely since March 2020. Supporting music education and musicians, Continuo Arts offers New Jersey’s most comprehensive Intergenerational Choral Programs, Broadway & Beyond Musical Theater Troupe, private and group music, dance and theory lessons and produces The Minuetto Music Festival.
