Credit Card Thief Made $10K In Charges: Summit Police

Four card were stolen from inside a business and used fraudulently, police said.

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Police are looking for a credit card thief that made $10,000 in fraudulent charges on March 6.

According to authorities, police took a report for a theft of credit cards from inside a business on Maple Street. The victim reported the credit cards had been left in a wallet, inside a secured locker.

Upon returning to the locker, the victim gathered the belongings and subsequently started to receive notifications regarding fraudulent activity on four credit cards that were no longer in
the victim’s possession.

The total charges were approximately $10,000.
